This beautiful olive wood spatula is handmade and is a must for every kitchen. Olive wood is ideal for food preparation as the natural oil content of olive wood means that it kills bacteria. Olive wood is therefore more hygienic than other wood or plastic products. All our olive wood products are finished with olive oil and so will not taint any food it is in contact with. These hand-made wooden cooking utensils are carved out of a single piece of wood so are rare. The natural grain makes them unique, beautiful and durable.

This very special olive wood spatula has an inset of blue resin in the handle.

As a result of these utensils being hand-crafted the size and shape may vary slightly with each product. Approximate length is 12″.

This olive wood and resin pieces have been designed by the Naturally Med team. They are food safe and should be maintained in the same way as our other olive wood products. Each piece takes around 5 days to produce – layers of resin are pouring into a mold holding the olive wood. Each day the layers are built up, until these stunning products are ready.

Maintenance:

Olive wood products will last a lifetime if it is properly looked after. To keep your olive wood products looking their best please follow this advice:

• Hand wash only, not suitable for dishwashers
• Occasionally coat with mineral oil to prevent the wood from drying out
• Do not leave soaking in water or exposed to heat or sunshine
